On Wednesday the 9th
of October I went to a French Cinemobile and I saw three films.
My favourite film was Thirty Five Aside because it was very
funny. It was brilliant the way the Cinemobile folded up into a
lorry. It was warm and cosy and it was the best school trip I
have ever been on. Leanne Ree, age 8
For kids particularly it will be a wonderful romantic
introduction to cinema-going. It should be travelling the byroads
of Ireland permanently for it will only bring joy, and delight
and passionate discussion wherever it parks itself and unfold its
magic. Gerry
Stembridge, Director.
Being used to adult audiences I expected one maybe two
shy contributions. But at least 60 little arms went up. After 2
hours, there was not a single aspect of animation that I had not
talked about. Edith
Pieperhoff, Animator.
I think the Cinemobile is just a great idea. The
intimacy is lovely especially for older people living in
the country who wouldnt have someone to bring them out to
the cinema Aislin

'Just a mail to say we were
at a screening in the cinemobile yesterday Wednesday 29th January
2003 (9.45 Spy Kids). A group of 13 people went from Creagh
Training Centre which is a centre for adults wtih
disabilities. Everyone enjoyed the film and the staff we
met were very kind and courteous. It was a great experience
as many of the trainees would not have been at the cinema
before. Thank you so much and we look forward to your next
visit to Ballinasloe!
